We are looking for someone who wants to grow their career for the long term in this role as you will become a vital component of our current and future investment strategy.What Will You Be DoingMajority (>80%)Qualifying M&A Prospects – Understand and use our investment criteria for rigorous screening of prospectsBig Data – Manage, monitor and maintain the data quality of our watch-list of M&A prospects in our CRM with reports and dashboardsResearch – Perform primary research on owner-operated businesses, private equity portfolio companies, as well as potential carve outs of multinational corporationsResearch – market-sizing, industry trends, and competitor analysisResearch – Software M&A advisors, brokers, and investment banksData sources – Identify & analyze relevant 3rd party data sources such as industry tradeshows and conferences for M&A prospects Analysis-Prepare and report on various statistics and KPIs related to our M&A pipelineMinority (Ad Hoc Analysis & Special Projects with our senior M&A and Corporate Development leaders to support capital deploymentWhat We Are Looking For2-4+ years of experience in finance, accounting, software, or data analysisBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics (BBA/ BCom etc.)Self-motivated individual with an ability to perform independently in a fast-paced environmentExcellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlinesExcellent organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills, and analytical abilityProficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPointLeverages AI for research and analysisHigh degree of professionalism and integrityAbility to work remotely in the U.S. or Canada
