ResponsibilitiesThe Director, Portfolio is a senior leadership role responsible for aligning technology investments with enterprise strategy. This role oversees the portfolio of technology initiatives, ensuring they deliver measurable value, meet governance standards, and support long-term organizational goals.Executes strategic oversight and delivery of the technology portfolio, ensuring initiatives are prioritized, governed and aligned to enterprise strategy and business valueDevelop, manage, and track portfolio budget in alignment with strategic priorities.Serves as bridge between business objectives and technology execution, ensuring clear communication, shared accountability, and value realization across the portfolio.Ensures compliance with project management methodologies and governance frameworks. Ensures proposed initiatives are strategically aligned, financially justified, and governed through standardized evaluation criteriaProvides regular updates to executive and senior stakeholders on portfolio performance, initiative status, risks, benefits and financial performance.Prioritize and manage the portfolio of initiatives to maximize business valueFormalize and manage the end-to-end business case review and approval processPartner with business and technology teams to ensure technology initiatives are aligned with strategic goals, resourced appropriately and executed effectively.Oversee the full lifecycle of projects within the IT portfolio – from intake and planning to execution and benefit realization.Collaborate cross-functionally with business stakeholders and technology teams to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans and delivery roadmapsIdentify and translate strategic business needs into demands and ensure alignment with enterprise prioritiesTrack and report on project execution status, value delivered and aligned with business strategiesMonitor project performances, value delivery and aligned with strategic objectives .Partner with finance and business leaders to ensure accurate forecasting, cost control and value realizationEstablish clear criteria and workflows for evaluating proposed initiativesTrack approved business cases through execution to ensure expected outcomes are realizedMentor and lead cross-functional teams, including project managers and integration leadsMonitor performance metrics and drive operational improvementsEnforce adoption of standardized project management tools and processesLead the use and governance of ServiceNow tools across the technology portfolioBuild and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and technology teamsBalances competing demands and adjusts execution plans to align with real-time business and technology shiftsFacilitate feedback loops Qualifications Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related fieldProject Management Professional, PMP, certification preferred10+ years of experience in project, program and portfolio management.Experience managing large-scale technology portfolio budgets, including planning, forecasting and reportingExperience managing IT project teamsExperience managing relationships with internal business customers at executive and senior management level. Knowledge/SkillsAbility to lead and drive adoption of project management tools and processes within ServiceNow PPM.Abiliy to multi-task effictivelt and work well under pressureStrong leadership skillsStrong communication and presentation skillsStrategic program prioritization skills and experienceStrong customer focus mindsetExpert understanding of scope of IT services SoftwareProficient in project and portfolio management in ServiceNow PPM required.
