We're looking for a proactive and personable individual to help create a seamless and welcoming experience for our patients. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Answer and triage incoming telephone calls in a professional and timely manner Manage patient messages from email or the EMR system Register patients and schedule appointments Check in/out patients and verify insurance and demographic information Process referrals and authorizations Salary Range: $26.42-37.49 HourlyQualificationsRequiredSkill in speaking clearly, distinctly, and pleasantly on the telephone to communicate with the public, patients, physicians, and scientists. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationship with staff, coworkers and the public, both on the telephone and in person. Ability to handle multiple ongoing tasks. Skill in prioritizing assignments to complete work in a timely manner. Skill in working independently and following through on assignments with minimal direction. Ability to write concisely and clearly, with appropriate spelling/ Ability to perform effectively under conditions of fluctuating workload. Ability to use EMR system for scheduling and messaging.
