Gibraltar produces an average of 130 million pounds of copper and 2.5 million pounds of molybdenum each year, with mineral reserves sufficient for more than 20 years of future operations.For more information visit our website www.tasekomines.com.Role OverviewReporting to the Superintendent, Supply Chain, the Admin Assistant, Supply Chain is a key role on the supply chain team supporting the site, warehouse and procurement team members in a wide variety of administrative, clerical and procurement duties. This position also participates as part of the Site wide Administrative team helping with Company and Site functions and initiatives.Core ResponsibilitiesMaintain various online registers, schedules, files, and documents for the departmentEnsure that all safety information is being tracked and updated for the departmentPrepare letters, notices and other documents as instructed by the Superintendent, Supply ChainProcess and complete month-end reports for the departmentAssist other members within the Supply Chain department, including, purchase order expediting, purchase order transmittals, data entry, filing, etc.Run and process various reports throughout the month. Review invoicing and credits for the department.Maintains data integrity across supply chain files and information systems in accordance with established policies and procedures Resolves invoice and receiving discrepancies by researching discrepancies.Prepares purchase orders for Light Vehicle fleet and communicates orders to vendorsWork in ERP system daily using the Purchasing and Inventory Modules.Data entry information into ERP system, excel worksheets and reports.Responsible for filing information related to Contracts and Supply Chain documentsCommunicating with internal and external stakeholders in a professional, constructive mannerPerform other duties as requested and assignedEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma2 – 3 years related experience in a clerical support role (Supply Chain preferred)Skills & CompetenciesAdvance-Intermediate data management and reporting skills (Microsoft Word, Excel)Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writingAble to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independentlyDemonstrated ability to collaborate with end-user departments as well as vendors in a professional mannerStrong attention to detail and time management skillsGood organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment within tight deadlinesPossess and maintain a valid Class 5 drivers’ licenseThe CommunityWilliams Lake has a population of approximately 12,000 but services nearly 25,000 as it is a central hub for many outlying smaller communitiesAdult recreational leagues for many popular sports including hockey, soccer, and softballA fantastic trail network for mountain biking, walking, and hikingDozens of nearby lakes for fishing, paddling, and camping opportunitiesClose by cross country and downhill skiing venuesCompensationAt all Taseko locations, we pride ourselves on offering a challenging and rewarding work environment.
