Job DetailsDescriptionLocation: Calgary, AlbertaPosition Type: Full-Time/Temporary (6-month contract)✨ Position SummaryJoin our dedicated team as an Administrative Assistant, providing high-level support to one or more of our physicians. You’ll play a key role in managing schedules, coordinating clinic activities, and contributing to an exceptional patient and staff experience.This is a non-patient-facing role within a collaborative care team environment, requiring flexibility, cross-coverage, and a passion for healthcare excellence.🩺 What You’ll Be Doing📅 Schedule CoordinationMaintain physician clinic schedules, OR bookings, IVF dates, and appointmentsPrepare weekly physician calendarsEnter and update appointments in EMRUnderstand patient flow and appointment types🏥 Clinic PreparationPrepare medical records for consultationsRetrieve required documentation and testingEnsure completion of patient intake forms💰 Billing & DocumentationManage Alberta Health Care and private billing in eIVFProcess non-insured and missed appointment chargesDraft patient and consult letters📞 General Admin DutiesAnswer and direct calls as neededPerform ad hoc administrative tasks as assignedSupport other departments when required🎓 Qualifications & ExperienceHigh school diploma (required)MOA certificate or post-secondary in admin (preferred)LPN certificate/ experience (is an asset)2+ years in administrative support (medical setting preferred)Experience supporting a physician or healthcare professionalFamiliarity with Connect Care and Alberta Netcare (preferred)💡 Knowledge & SkillsExcellent time management and attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsEMR proficiency and computer literacyAbility to work independently and in team settingsProfessional, adaptable, and empathetic demeanourStrong problem-solving and critical thinking abilitiesWhy Join Us?We Offer a Supportive And Enriching Work Environment Where Your Contributions Are Valued.
