DescriptionThe Administrative Assistant for Education is the person who welcomes all new teammates to Iredell Health System and gets them started on a journey to success. This employee is responsible for creating the education file, tracking certifications, degrees, competencies, annual pathways and also licenses. This employee supports the Clinical Educators and works collaboratively with leaders, Human Resources, Employee Health and all teams within the organization.This employee must possess a can-do attitude and a positivity that creates confidence in our teams. While understanding the policies throughout the organization, this person also works with teams to make sure our staff are prepared, ready and functioning. This employee has a great impact on each teammate and must accept that responsibility.RequirementsHigh School graduate or equivalent required; prefer a degree in Business Administration or related healthcare field. Excellent organizational skills / time management skills with attention to details.Excellent listening and oral/written communication skills; communicates clearly and concisely in both written and oral form.Proficiency in the use of computers and business software to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher and the ability to enter data into the AS-400 and E-Learning systems.Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a variety of situations.Strong facilitation skills, problem solving, and decision making skills.Knowledge of education principles, methods, and best practices.Capable of working independently.Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to life and carry up to 30 pounds.
