Job Description

Key Responsibilities:1. Maintain and administer the petty cash fund, ensuring adequate cash on hand to coveranticipated expenses.2. Review and verify petty cash requests, ensuring proper authorization, documentation, andadherence to company policies and procedures.3. Disburse petty cash to employees and suppliers, recording and categorizing each transactionaccurately.4. Reconcile and balance the petty cash fund regularly, preparing reports for managementreview.5. Assist in purchasing inventory, airtime, and fuel for company vehicles as needed.6. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of inventory based on operationalneeds and demands. Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed to preventstockouts.7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inventory purchases, including details ofquantity, cost, supplier information, and delivery dates.8. Assist in the performance of regular inventory audits, verifying the physical inventory againstrecorded data and assisting with any discrepancies or adjustments as needed.9. Coordinate with other departments to support their administrative needs.10. Handle sensitive information in a confidential and professional manner.11. Ensure compliance with company policies.12. Perform other administrative duties as assigned.Qualifications:1. High school diploma or equivalent, with some experience in finance or administrationpreferred.2. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.4. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.5. Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.6. Knowledge of basic accounting principles and best practices.7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
