Job Title: HVAC Plant EngineerLocation: VispWork Model: Hybrid (On-site & Remote flexibility)Duration: August 2025- August 2026About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Plant Engineer to support and optimize operations within its production and engineering facilities. This role is pivotal in driving project execution, plant maintenance, and ensuring compliance with industry standards such as GMP. Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute small-scale engineering projects (e. g. , process optimization, feasibility studies, risk assessments, technical conversions). Perform cost estimates and timeline planning for new or existing plant upgrades.
Ensure maintenance work is conducted efficiently and in compliance with safety and environmental regulations, including interfacing with regulatory authorities. Utilize SAP for work order placement, technical and commercial evaluations, and capacity planning for optimal plant and personnel use. Monitor and manage budgets related to maintenance, conversions, and investments within your responsibility area. Update and verify plant documentation, such as flow charts, installation plans, part lists, and ensure change management compliance with GMP standards. Support and deliver training to plant and workshop personnel focused on operational processes, safety, hygiene, environmental protection, and quality standards (cGMP).
Required QualificationsDegree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related technical field (University or Technical College FH/HF). Professional experience in Biotech or Pharma production environments is highly desirable. Familiarity with GMP regulations; experience with COMOS (Plant Engineering Software) and SAP is an advantage. Strong independent working ability, with flexibility and reliability. High level of organizational skill and a structured, solution-driven mindset. Effective collaborator with strong interpersonal and teamwork capabilities. Fluent in English; German language skills are a strong asset.
