A leading regional Non-Destructive Testing / NDT inspection services company is seeking a NDT Technical & Operations Manager to take full ownership of hands-on operational and technical activities across Offshore, Oil & Gas, Marine, and Industrial projects in the UAE.This is a high-visibility, operationally and technically focused role for an NDT professional with ASNT Level III expertise, who thrives in field execution, team leadership, and complex inspection projects.Key Responsibilities:Operational & Technical LeadershipOversee and manage day-to-day NDT operations across offshore and onshore industrial sites.Supervise daily schedules of technicians and subcontractors for optimal manpower utilization.Plan, coordinate, and execute NDT inspection projects, ensuring on-time, safe, and compliant delivery.Monitor project progress, identify technical bottlenecks, and provide hands-on solutions.Lead ASNT Level III activities, including procedure approvals, technical guidance, and report validation.Team Mentorship & DevelopmentTrain, mentor, and assess technicians and junior engineers in advanced NDT methods (PAUT, TOFD, IRIS, MFL, SECT).Conduct practical and theoretical competency evaluations to maintain high technical standards.Foster a culture of safety, technical excellence, and operational efficiency.Client & Stakeholder EngagementAct as the technical point of contact on-site, ensuring client requirements are met.Collaborate with management on resource planning, project strategy, and operational improvements.Present technical solutions, project updates, and recommendations to clients.Conduct site visits, technical presentations, and progress reviews with client representatives.Support business development by providing technical input for tenders, quotations, and capability statements.Build long-term client relationships through service reliability, responsiveness, and technical expertise.QHSE & ComplianceEnsure compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and enforce safety protocols consistently.Drive continuous improvement initiatives in operational processes and technical execution.Maintain strict compliance with ISO 17025, ASNT, API, ASME, and client-specific standards.Experience and QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Metallurgical Engineering or related technical field.ASNT/PCN Level III certification preferred.10-15 years of hands-on NDT operations experience in Offshore, Oil & Gas, Marine, or Industrial sectors in GCC.Expertise in advanced NDT methods: PAUT, TOFD, IRIS, MFL, SECT, etc.Experience managing and mentoring teams of technicians and junior engineers on-site.BOSIET / Offshore medical fitness advantageous.Strong problem-solving, field execution, and operational leadership skills.Key DeliverablesOn-time, safe, and compliant execution of high-complexity NDT projects.Optimal manpower utilization and technical competency of the team.Quality, accuracy, and compliance of inspection reports and procedures.Client satisfaction, retention, and repeat business through technical excellence.Successful implementation of operational improvements and technical innovations.
