All patients admitted to the service will be considered to present a significant risk of harm to others and some patient may also pose a risk of harm to themselves.We are excited to announce that we are now inviting forward thinking, motivated Advanced Occupational Therapy Practitioner in Speciality who has an understanding of Child and Adolescent Mental Health and/or Forensic Mental health with relevant experience. (This is a fixed term post to cover maternity leave for 12 months)What You Will DoClinical work will be focused on delivering a high standard of clinical care to young people accessing Foxgrove, both directly and through work with the multi-disciplinary team within the Service. The young people who will be admitted are anticipated to have a range of complex needs, focused around mental health difficulties and neurodevelopmental conditions.This post requires a level of flexibility within role- including weekend work as clinically appropriate (with no nightshift cover)This post also attracts an Recruitment and Retention PremiaFor further information on the role please click the link below to view the job descriptionKnowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The JobPre-reg MSc/BSc in Occupational TherapyRequires to have post graduate training in relevant speciality, or experience equivalent to a Masters Level. This would include inpatient and outpatient experience, and would also include membership of Royal College of Occupational Therapy Special Interest GroupsMust have substantial and varied clinical experience of working in a relevant speciality at an advanced level.
