Job Description

Location: Remote (Must be based in San Salvador, El Salvador)Job Type: Contract | Part-time option availableAbout the Role: Adventum Funds and Advisory is seeking an experienced and highly skilled HR Manager based in San Salvador to manage and support our international remote team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and Spanish, have extensive experience managing remote teams, and possess strong communication, organizational, and people management skills. This role requires someone who can navigate the unique challenges of working with an international team while maintaining a collaborative and efficient HR function. Key Responsibilities: Employee Relations & Communication:

Serve as the main point of contact for employees based in the US, Mexico, San Salvador and the Philippines, ensuring clear communication and resolving any concerns. Foster a supportive and positive remote work culture, addressing any issues related to employee engagement, morale, or performance. Guide employees through organizational changes and conflict resolution, ensuring alignment with company values. Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage recruitment efforts for remote roles, from sourcing candidates to interviewing and onboarding new team members across the US and Mexico.

Ensure a smooth and engaging onboarding experience for new hires, especially for remote employees, ensuring they are set up for success from day one. Employee Development & Performance: Implement and oversee a remote-friendly performance management system, conducting performance reviews, setting objectives, and providing constructive feedback. Develop and lead training and development programs to ensure employee growth and career progression, tailored to a remote team structure. HR Policies & Compliance: Ensure adherence to local and international labor laws, particularly for employees based in the US, Mexico, and the Philippines, while maintaining fair and transparent policies.

Develop and update HR policies that promote inclusivity, remote work best practices, and compliance across all regions. Compensation & Benefits: Oversee compensation and benefits packages, ensuring they are competitive, equitable, and tailored to each region (US, Mexico, and the Philippines). Provide guidance on salary benchmarking, benefits administration, and ensuring internal equity across different teams. Culture & Engagement: Lead initiatives to maintain and strengthen the company culture within a remote, multi-country environment, ensuring alignment with organizational values. Plan and execute virtual team-building activities and employee engagement initiatives to foster a sense of belonging and community across time zones. HR Systems & Reporting:

Manage HR systems for record-keeping, tracking employee performance, and generating regular reports on key HR metrics. Provide leadership with data-driven insights on employee satisfaction, turnover rates, and other performance indicators to inform strategic decisions. Skills & Qualifications: Experience: 5+ years of HR management experience, with a strong focus on remote teams and an international workforce. Location: Must be based in San Salvador, El Salvador. Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential for communication with a diverse team across multiple regions. Tech Savvy: Comfortable with HR software, payroll, and collaboration tools. People Skills:

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively manage team dynamics across different cultures. Problem-Solving: Ability to navigate complex HR challenges, especially related to remote teams across different countries. Time Management: Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines across different time zones. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certifications (e. g. , SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus. Knowledge of labor laws in the US, Mexico, San Salvador and the Philippines is a plus. Experience with remote employee engagement and creating inclusive, high-performing virtual teams.
