By uniting people of passion who believe they can make a difference, we are confident that we can achieve this goal.Job DescriptionThe Network Data Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data systems that ingest, process, and storenetwork-related data in a common repository warehouse which is the NTG network data mart.The Network Data Systems Engineer position requires analytical and design skills with the ability to translate user and system requirements intoa data model and technical design ensuring that the ingested data is documented and scoped properly, curated, cleaned, and free from dataquality issues.The Network Data Systems Engineer will also be responsible for maintaining data pipelines to ensure continuous data flow, as well as ensuringthat the data is accessible, reliable, and secure. This role is critical in enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization by providinghigh-quality and timely network data.Duties And ResponsibilitiesDevelop ETL jobs based on recommended solution and using official ETL tools determined by NTG Network Data Mart HeadCreate ETL design documentation, Source-to-Target spreadsheets, and technical design specificationsProvides technical expertise, troubleshoots, guides and supports during design, development, testing, production and post-productionUnderstand the source system, capture and document business rulesAnalyze and propose changes to maximize code reusability and maintaining business valueDevelop, implement and maintain highly efficient and scalable ETL processes.Provides expert technical knowledge and solutions pertaining to Data integration.Identify opportunities to optimize the ETL environment, implement monitoring, quality and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.Provide inputs into data governance organization to drive the data governance charter.Ensure compliance to internal standards and guidelines.Conduct unit testing and component integration testing for solutions developedWork with data platform owners (OSS, EDS etc.) to build up and manage Network Data Mart environment and Data Pipelines within NTGWork with various data/system owners (OSS, EDS, 3rd Party etc.) to ingest structured data in Data Mart and manage egression of curated data out of NTG Data MartTo be the dedicated storage place for all NTG insights dataKPI’sSuccessful/completion and delivery of data-ingestion pipes related projects.Accuracy, completeness, and consistency of the data being ingested and stored.Uptime and reliability of data pipelines.Incident Resolution TimeTop 3-5 DeliverablesEfficient and reliable data pipelines that automate the flow of data from sources to storage and processing systems.High-quality data that is curated, cleaned, and free from inconsistencies and errors.Optimized data systems that perform efficiently under various loads and use cases.Enforce technical ETL standards and monitor compliance, Comprehensive documentation of the data systems, including architecture diagrams, process flows, and best practices.A monitoring system with alerts that tracks the health and performance of data pipelines and infrastructure.Equal Opportunity EmployerGlobe’s hiring process promotes equal opportunity to applicants, Any form of discrimination is not tolerated throughout the entire employee lifecycle, including the hiring process such as in posting vacancies, selecting, and interviewing applicants.Globe’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Policy Commitment can be accessed hereMake Your Passion Part of Your Profession.
