Job Description

Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Aerospace Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will perform complex structural and mechanical assembly of aerospace components, including fitting, riveting, and rework of both manufactured and purchased parts. Responsibilities include using a variety of hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and assembly equipment to ensure components meet strict aerospace specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate is a skilled and dependable aerospace assembler with a background in complex structural assembly within a military defense manufacturing environment.

They demonstrate understanding of blueprint reading, precise measurement, and critical assembly techniques involving close-tolerance components. Works effectively both independently and within a team, and is dedicated to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: Perform complex structural and mechanical assembly of military or commercial aerospace parts and components, including drilling, reaming, riveting, fitting, countersink, bonding, sealant application, fastener techniques, in accordance with engineering work instructions and specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate and compliant builds. Use precision measuring tools (e. g.

, calipers, micrometers, height gauges) to inspect and verify parts and assemblies meet aerospace quality standards. Conduct visual and functional inspections to engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications to ensure product quality and compliance. Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to resolve assembly issues. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while supporting production schedules and participating in ongoing training and improvement initiatives.
