Financial Controller

We are looking for a proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our finance team at AERONES. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of financial planning, reporting, and control in a fast-scaling, venture-backed technology company. You'll be instrumental in strengthening our finance function, working closely with an experienced CFO, accounting team, and business leaders. Our operations span multiple jurisdictions, and we need someone who can thrive in complexity, ensure strong financial discipline, and bring a strategic mindset to support growth and operational excellence. Responsibilities:

Oversee financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes across global operationsDrive accuracy and timeliness in management reporting, including KPI dashboards and variance analysesDevelop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls and policies to safeguard company assets and ensure compliancePartner with accounting, operations, and leadership to translate financial insights into business strategiesMonitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity, providing proactive recommendations to leadershipSupport fundraising, audits, and investor reporting with high-quality financial data and analysisIdentify opportunities for process automation and improvements in reporting, forecasting, and controlsEnsure compliance with relevant tax, legal, and regulatory requirements across jurisdictionsRequirements7+ years of experience in financial controlling, FP&A, or audit, preferably in an international environmentStrong background in financial analysis, budgeting, and reportingSolid understanding of IFRS, local GAAP, and regulatory requirementsProven ability to establish and maintain financial control frameworks in fast-growing companiesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and structured approachStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, including ability to work cross-functionallyProficiency in English and Latvian is requiredBenefitsWe believe great work starts with feeling valued and supported.
