Role Objectives: The Agile Project Manager I (APM I) supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of projects within one or more Agile squads. This role focuses on ensuring smooth sprint execution, clear communication, and alignment between engineering, product, and design teams. The APM1 works under the guidance and direction of the Head of Agile PMO, gaining experience in Agile delivery practices, stakeholder management, and project governance.The ideal candidate has a foundational understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), strong organizational skills, and a proactive attitude toward driving delivery outcomes within their squads. Roles & Responsibilities:Coordinate day-to-day project delivery activities within assigned Agile squads.Support sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.Track squad progress against sprint and release goals, highlighting blockers and risks early.Maintain accurate Jira boards, delivery trackers, and project documentation.Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineering Leads to ensure alignment on priorities and deliverables.Communicate progress updates and risks to the Head of Agile PMO.Assist in identifying and managing delivery risks and dependencies within the squad.Participate in release planning, QA coordination, and regression activities.Contribute to continuous improvement by supporting process enhancements across the team.REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS1 to 3 years of experience in Agile project coordination, delivery, or software development environments.Basic understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and software delivery lifecycle.Hands-on experience using tools like Jira, Confluence, or equivalent project tracking tools.Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities.Eagerness to learn and grow into managing larger-scale initiatives and multiple squads over time.
