About AI 2030AI 2030 is a global initiative advancing responsible AI through research, public engagement, and cross-sector collaboration. With a network of more than 5,000 members worldwide, we design events, programs, and partnerships that accelerate the adoption of inclusive, ethical AI.Due to supervision capacity, we will only be able to accept a limited number of interns. However, we aim to review all applicants carefully and match strong candidates with meaningful experiences. We also welcome volunteers who wish to contribute specifically to our 2026 Silicon Valley Summit, a global gathering focused on investing in responsible AI and emerging technologies. To apply, fill out the Interest form by October 31,2025.We are seeking college and graduate-level interns based in the San Francisco Bay Area to support our expanding operations and event presence leading up to the 2026 Summit. These internships are ideal for students with a strong interest in technology, ethics, and cross-sector collaboration.Interns will gain direct access to AI 2030 in-person events and play a key role in shaping and supporting our 2026 Flagship Silicon Valley Summit.Internship Roles: Event & Experience Design InternFocus: Logistics, operations, and on-site production for AI 2030 events including panels, salons, and summits.Key Responsibilities:Assist with vendor coordination, registration, and schedulingSupport event design and layout planningCapture behind-the-scenes content for social channelsProvide on-site support for event setup, check-in, and speaker coordinationIdeal for: Organized and creative students with an interest in convenings, live production, and experience design.Strategic Communications & Storytelling InternFocus: External relations, storytelling, and brand alignment.Key Responsibilities:Craft Community posts, social media posts, speaker bios, newsletters, etc. Support media outreach and partner communicationsMaintain brand consistency across messaging and platformsIdeal for: Strong writers studying public affairs, journalism, or strategic communications who are interested in narrative strategy.Brand & Visual Communications InternFocus: Creative storytelling and visual communications.Key Responsibilities:Design social media graphics, short videos, and event assetsSupport social media scheduling and analyticsCreate presentation decks and visual summaries of eventsIdeal for: Students with design or marketing experience and proficiency in Canva or Adobe Suite, with an eye for clean, modern aesthetics.Responsible AI Policy & Public Engagement Intern Focus: Translating complex AI policy and governance topics into accessible, public-facing content.Key Responsibilities:Summarize global AI policy developmentsDraft short explainers and talking pointsSupport coordination with thought leaders and working groupsIdeal for: Students studying policy, public affairs, or law who are interested in technology governance and responsible innovation.DetailsLocation: San Francisco Bay Area (some in-person event support required)Timeline: October 2025 – February 2026 or ongoingTime Commitment: 8–15 hours per week, flexible scheduleReports to: Head of Public Affairs & Strategic Engagement, AI 2030Opportunities: In-person access to AI 2030 events and networking events, participation in the 2026 Silicon Valley Summit, and school credit where applicableTo Apply:Fill out the Interest form by October 31.
