AI Backend (Langchain) developer intern

Overview: We are seeking a motivated intern passionate about AI development to assist in building and optimizing backend systems powered by large language models (LLMs). The ideal candidate has strong fundamentals in Python, backend frameworks, and experience (or eagerness to learn) working with LangChain, vector databases, and API-based model orchestration.Responsibilities:Develop, test, and deploy AI-powered backend services using Python and LangChain.Integrate third-party APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.) into conversational pipelines.Build and maintain data pipelines for embeddings, context retrieval, and prompt management.Optimize response time and accuracy in multi-agent or RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems.Collaborate with the frontend and ML teams to support real-time chat, analytics, and model evaluation features.Document technical processes, system architecture, and code contributions clearly.Requirements:Strong Python programming skills.Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and web frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, or Django).Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks.Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and vector stores (Pinecone, Chroma, FAISS, Weaviate).Understanding of LLM concepts: tokenization, embeddings, prompts, and context windows.Ability to work with Git, cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Railway), and asynchronous systems.Enthusiasm for AI, applied NLP, and building practical automation tools. ** Preferred (Nice to Have):**Experience deploying AI systems on production servers or APIs.Knowledge of RAG pipelines or fine-tuning workflows.Interest in conversational agents or AI-driven SaaS products.Learning Opportunities:Hands-on experience with state-of-the-art LLMs and LangChain pipelines.Mentorship from experienced AI developers.Opportunity to contribute to production-grade AI products impacting real businesses.
