About Our GroupWe are a team of IT (Information Technologies) professionals from Seagate. We are responsible for creating and implementing data-driven solutions to support business decisions and operations. The use of AI and ML allows for real-time data analysis and decision making, predictive maintenance, and the optimization of production processes. We collaborate with the business teams to harness the full potential of Industry 4.0 - Real-time control, IoT, Big Data and Analytics, Automation and Artificial Intelligence to support “Smart Factory” initiative, to make better decision and maximize operational excellence.About The Role - You WillDevelop machine learning algorithms to automate factory processesUndertaking data collection, preprocessing of structured and unstructured data and analysisAnalyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patternsBuild predictive models and machine-learning algorithmsDesign, develop, and implement AI agents to automate complex tasks and enhance factory intelligencePresenting information using data visualization techniquesAbout YouFamiliar and well versed in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Development, or a related disciplineFlexible and adaptive in learning new technologies and languagesPassionate about big data, statistics, data management, data processing, data testing, data governance or analysisAbility to communicate and work cross-functionalityYour Experience IncludesKnowledge in machine learning algorithms such as multi-class classifications, decision trees and deep learning, GenAIExperience in image processing, OpenCV, TensorFlow would be advantageousExperience with Generative AI frameworks and tools (such as Llama, LLMs, RAG)SQL, Web technologies, Java, .NET, Hadoop, Python or R/ShinyExperience developing, fine-tuning, and deploying large language models and GenAI solutions using open-source tools and prompt engineering techniquesBackground in data science, applied mathematics, or otherwise research-based fieldExperience with microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes is desirableLocation:Our Penang office is located in Suntech at Cybercity, easily accessible via public transportation and offering ample free on-site parking.
