Our client is an early-stage startup in the circular economy space, focused on making it easier for consumers to discover and purchase second-hand items online. Their platform uses AI to collect and structure products from multiple marketplaces into one unified, searchable experience. The team consists of experienced entrepreneurs committed to sustainability, innovation, and building technology that accelerates circular consumption. They offer the opportunity to contribute to a purpose-driven project with real climate impact, tackle exciting technical challenges, and influence the development of a rapidly growing platform.In this role, you will take the lead on advancing the core intelligence of our platform—especially around search, recommendations, and personalization. Your work will involve applying modern AI/ML techniques to solve challenges such as clustering, categorizing, and understanding a constantly changing set of one-of-a-kind products. You will be central in shaping their technical direction as they scale the product and unlock new value for users.This assignment begins as a project-based role, with strong potential for continued collaboration and long-term involvement.Job RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you think that you are an ambitious developer with a strong technical foundation and a passion for creative problem-solving. You quickly orient yourself in new environments and understand how to translate technology into real customer value. You enjoy taking responsibility and working independently, but you also communicate clearly and collaborate well.
