You will also contribute to operational excellence and support new initiatives requiring AI-driven solutions.General responsibilitiesDrive rapid prototyping of innovative ideas, transforming concepts into tangible data-driven solutions quickly and efficiently.Lead data science projects from ideation and data preparation to model development, deployment and monitoring.Develop and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms using Python, TensorFlow or PyTorchAnalyze complex datasets to extract insights and support data-driven decision making.Develop dashboards, visualizations, and impactful insights that support effective business decision makingCollaborate closely with data engineers and cross functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and operational efficiency.Apply MLOps practices to manage and deploy models in production environments using Azure cloud platform and tools like Docker and CI/CD pipelines.Translate complex analytical insights into clear, business-oriented recommendations.Apply agile methodologies to manage and execute data science projects effectively.Stay updated with the latest trends in data science and proactively evangelize new technologies or methodologies to the organizationLeadership responsibilitiesAble to influence opinions and decisions when working closely with internal and external stakeholders.Identify, solve issues to ensure projects stay on track and meet objectivesEffective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersEnsure collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and achievement of business goals.Functional skills and knowledgeProficient in Python, Tensorflow or PyTorchStrong foundation in statistics, machine learning, algorithms and data structuresStrong experience with data visualization toolsDemonstrated experience in predictive analytics, operational excellence and generating customer insightsSolid understanding or Agile / Scrum methodologiesExperience with MLOps practices, including model deployment, monitoring and CI/CD for data science workflowsKnowledge of modern AI techniques, including generative AI and advance machine learning methods.Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skillsPreferred SkillsExperience with MLOps tools (e.g. MLflow or similar frameworks).Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g. Docker)Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Innovative mindset and a passion for continuous learning and introducing new technologies.EducationBachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
