We are looking for an AI Trading Architect who will design and implement the data and algorithmic trading infrastructure that connects Solmag’s energy-prediction platform with financial and energy markets. This role blends data engineering, machine learning, quantitative trading, and API integration into a unified trading automation system.Key Responsibilities1. Data Acquisition & IntegrationCollect, process, and aggregate high-frequency data from Solmag gateway devices, including energy production, grid consumption, environmental metrics, and device performance.Build data pipelines that transform raw device data into structured datasets usable for forecasting and trading algorithms.Ensure data reliability, time alignment, and accuracy across all platform sources.2. Predictive Analytics & ForecastingIntegrate Solmag’s AI models that predict energy production and consumption based on device and environmental data.Evaluate prediction confidence, volatility indicators, and risk factors to support automated trading decisions.Continuously optimize forecasting models to improve trading accuracy and performance.3. Trading System ArchitectureConnect Solmag’s data platform to stock, energy, or commodity markets via APIs (e.g., energy futures markets, carbon credit markets, renewable energy certificates, or electricity spot markets).Design and implement automated trading logic that uses Solmag’s predictive insights to execute buy/sell orders.Develop risk-management frameworks, stop-loss logic, and algorithmic safeguards to maintain system stability.4. Algorithmic Strategy DevelopmentBuild algorithmic trading strategies based on energy forecast deltas, consumption patterns, market volatility, and predictive confidence levels.Backtest strategies using historical energy and market data.Monitor live algorithm performance and adjust parameters to maximize ROI.5. Platform Integration & EngineeringWork with software, data, and AI teams to ensure seamless integration between Solmag’s energy-prediction engine, trading modules, and user dashboards.Develop APIs, microservices, and automated workflows enabling real-time trading execution.Ensure the system is scalable, secure, and maintainable.RequirementsStrong experience in algorithmic trading, quantitative finance, or AI-driven trading systems.Solid background in data engineering (APIs, pipelines, real-time data processing).Experience working with IoT or gateway-device data is a strong plus.Proficiency in Python, algorithmic trading frameworks, and ML model integration.Understanding of energy markets, grid operations, or renewable-energy forecasting is preferred.Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment.Impact of This RoleAs an AI Trading Architect at Solmag, you will be responsible for turning our real-time energy intelligence into a monetizable trading engine.
