Job Description

Job Title: Legal CounselLocation: Limassol, CyprusEmployment Type: Full-TimeResponsibilitiesLegal Leadership & Project OversightLead and manage acquisitions, corporate transactions, and other strategic deal processes. Oversee due diligence, governance, and post-transaction integration activities. Support the legal team in corporate structuring and cross-border compliance. Drafting & NegotiationTake full ownership of drafting, reviewing, and negotiating high-level agreements, including commercial, corporate, employment, IP, distribution, and marketing contracts. Handle legal documents with precision, ensuring clarity, risk mitigation, and commercial viability. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure legal accuracy and smooth execution. Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure legal and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions where the company operates.

Provide ongoing legal advice on operational matters, internal policies, and strategic initiatives. Proactively identify legal risks and propose actionable solutions. Stakeholder CollaborationLiaise closely with the Chief Legal Officer and legal team on key matters including: Reviewing and drafting new contracts or agreementsSupporting M&A and partnership transactionsAssisting with corporate housekeeping and documentation reviewsAct as a reliable legal partner to other departments, helping translate complex legal language into business-friendly guidance. General Support & Special ProjectsSupport the legal team with ad-hoc matters that arise in the course of business. Assist in documentation processing and internal/external due diligence requirements.

Get involved in specific projects and take initiative as needed with minimal supervision. RequirementsExcellent academic credentials in Law. Licensed to practice law in Cyprus, the UK, or another relevant jurisdiction. 4–6 years of experience in corporate and commercial law, preferably from a top-tier law firm or reputable in-house legal department. Proven ability to manage complex legal tasks with a solutions-oriented approach. Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with the ability to assess legal risks pragmatically. Proactive, independent, and highly organized - able to work in a fast-paced, international environment.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate legal matters clearly to non-legal colleagues. Experience across multiple jurisdictions is a plus. High ethical standards, strong judgment, and professional integrity.
