Job Purpose:The Air Cargo Sales Executive is responsible for developing, managing, and expanding the company’s air cargo client base. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing customers and agents, and achieving assigned sales targets. The position also requires coordination with the operations team to ensure smooth shipment handling and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, agents, and business partners.Identify new business opportunities and generate qualified sales leads.Prepare and follow up on sales quotations, proposals, and inquiries.Negotiate rates and service terms with clients to secure profitable business.Coordinate closely with the operations team to ensure smooth handling and execution of air shipments.Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.Achieve monthly and annual sales targets as set by management.Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and reports for management review.Represent the company at trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events as required.Dimensions:Personal Qualities:Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.Strong business development and relationship management abilities.Sound understanding of air freight routes, pricing structures, and market trends.Proficient in MS Office and CRM/sales tracking tools.Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team.Education:Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.Experience:Minimum 2–4 years of experience in air cargo sales, freight forwarding, or logistics services.Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive marketExperience working with airlines, freight forwarders, or logistics providers is an advantage.
