Air & Ocean Freight Operations Officer

We are hiring a Senior Operations Officer | Cairo (New Nozha)As a Senior Operations professional (Air & Ocean Freight Officer), you’ll oversee end-to-end freight forwarding activities — ensuring the smooth, timely, and cost-effective movement of shipments. You’ll coordinate closely with agents, partners, and clients to deliver high-quality service, resolve operational challenges, and contribute to continuous process improvement within the logistics and freight department.Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily import and export freight operations across air and sea shipments.Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (sales teams, agents, and clients) to ensure smooth logistics flow.Oversee documentation, pricing, and shipment releases with full compliance.Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve operational issues proactively.Maintain high service standards and ensure customer satisfaction.Liaise with shipping lines and logistics partners for rate negotiations and execution.Support continuous process improvements within the operations department.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field.Minimum of 3 years’ experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations.Solid understanding of import/export processes (air & sea freight).Proficiency in English and Microsoft Office (knowledge of IST system is a plus).Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.Location: New Nozha, Cairo — On-site, full-time.Days off: 2 per week.
