Job Description SummaryAircraft Engine Technician (Inspection Team)Job DescriptionJob title description:Be prepared to train to become XEOS-certified aircraft engine part and module InspectorWork in the Inspection team with responsible for the inspection of aircraft parts, assemblies, and modulesInspect parts to the manufacturer’s specification and the specific relevant technical documentationCheck part condition using visual inspection methods and other enhanced measuring and inspection aidsInput part and serial number data of components to the engine records held within the Maintenance Data System (SAP)Check that the correct Service Bulletins (SB’s) and Airworthiness Directives (AD’s) are called in-accordance-with customer and regulatory requestsInspect parts and disposition to outside vendor, call in-house repair or make serviceableEnsure remaining life of Life Limited Parts (LLP’s) are in-accordance-with the engines required time on wing or request alternative if neededPerform all work in-accordance-with the customers Purchase OrderWork as a motivated team member in a specialized dynamic environmentCollaborate with other teams to ensure timely completion of production and projectsWillingness to learn new tasks and cross train on multiple engine linesParticipate in cross-training of other technicians as needed to support production schedulesWork within quality, environmental and health and safety management systems to deliver a high-quality product in a safe and responsible mannerParticipates in continuous improvement of Inspection processDocument work performed in accordance with approved procedures and practicesRequirementsMinimum 2 years of professional experience in aviationFamiliarity with Part-145 requirements Good planning, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and decision-making skillAbility to work according to engine manual and other technical documentation and internal processesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings Speak and understand English Language to a minimum of B1 standard Willingness to go for on the job training to learn best practices from other facilitiesPreferred knowledge of MS officeVocational school or high schoolStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsTake ownership of improving working area in accordance with the lean principles of flow, pull and taktWillingness to work a shift patternWe OfferStable job position in high-tech work environment (aerospace industry) Permanent contract of employment Working in a flat structure based on a teaming concept Necessary trainings provided Opportunity for personal development and career advancement within the company Co-financing for commuting expenses (fuel allowance) Competitive salary Private medical care (LUXMED)Multisport cardMultilife platformLife insurance (Generali)Additional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: Yes
