Job Summary:The Aircraft Technician B2 is responsible for performing maintenance, repair, and certification of aircraft avionics and electrical systems in accordance with aviation regulations, manufacturer instructions, and company procedures. The B2 Technician ensures the airworthiness and safety of aircraft electrical and avionics systems and supports troubleshooting, inspections, installations, and scheduled maintenance tasks.Key Responsibilities:Perform maintenance, repairs, and modifications on aircraft avionics systems (e.g., communication, navigation, radar, flight control, electrical power).Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in line with EASA Part-145 or local regulatory standards.Diagnose and troubleshoot avionics and electrical faults, replacing or repairing defective components.Perform functional and operational tests of avionics systems using test equipment and software.Maintain accurate maintenance records, including job cards, defect rectifications, and component changes.Work collaboratively with B1 technicians and other departments to ensure timely aircraft turnaround.Adhere to safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies at all times.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.Support base maintenance operations, including A-checks, C-checks, and modifications.Requirements:Qualifications:Valid human factors, fuel tank safety, EWIS, and other mandatory training certificates.Valid driver’s license and, if applicable, airport security clearance.Experience:Minimum 2–5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance with focus on avionics/electrical systems.Experience in both base and line maintenance environments preferred.Skills:Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.Ability to read and interpret aircraft wiring diagrams, schematics, and manuals.Proficient with avionics test equipment and aircraft maintenance systems Good communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
