You’ll be part of a high-performing team and have the autonomy to build your own pipeline, backed by exceptional brand credibility and world-class operational support.About the RoleAs an Airfreight Business Development Manager, you'll identify, win and manage cargo charter opportunities across multiple sectors. This role blends sales, logistics and problem-solving, and is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and has genuine passion for aviation or freight.You’ll work with airlines, freight forwarders, global carriers, government, and commercial clients, creating bespoke cargo solutions and ensuring smooth end-to-end delivery.This role includes opportunities to travel internationally, visit client sites, oversee loadings and build strong commercial networks across the aviation and cargo ecosystem.What You’ll Be DoingDrive new business development and strategic account growth within cargo charter salesBuild and maintain strong relationships with airlines, freight forwarders and cargo partnersIdentify, qualify and convert sales leads into commercial opportunitiesManage end-to-end charter projects, ensuring seamless operational deliveryWork closely with internal operations teams to troubleshoot and deliver client-focused solutionsRepresent the brand at industry events, meetings and airport-based cargo activitiesWork towards KPIs and revenue targets with full support from an experienced leadership teamAbout YouProven experience in sales, business development or account management (essential)Background in airfreight, freight forwarding, aviation sales, cargo or airline (highly desirable)Demonstrated success in building pipelines and converting leadsClient-focused with the ability to build strong relationships quicklyExceptional communication skills; a second language is an advantageAmbitious, driven and commercially mindedAble to juggle multiple priorities and thrive under pressureComfortable working outside standard 9–5 hours when requiredHolds a valid Australian driver’s licenseOpen to domestic and international travelPackage & Benefits$80–$100k + Super depending on experienceUncapped commission with huge earning potentialWork with some of the biggest names in aviation and global cargoFull support from a specialist leadership teamCareer development and opportunities to travel to unique destinationsHigh-performing, dynamic and fast-growth environmentInterested:Email your resume to Sarah@traveltraderecruitment.com.au or call Sarah directly on 03 9988 0616
