Accountant - Automotive

Job RolePerforms professional accounting work including compilation, consolidation and analysis of financial data. Requires an understanding of accounting fundamentals and principles and bookkeeping experience. May include any or all of the following: ledgers and preparation of journal entries, fixed asset or inventory accounting, preparation of trial balance or financial statements, cost accounting, bank account reconciliationJob ResponsibilitiesTrack progress against budgets within established finance systems, and report variances to more senior colleagues. Produce accurate reports for others by collecting data from a variety of standard sources and inputting it into standard formats.

Use data management systems to access specific information as and when required Contribute to the preparation of various data and analytics reports. Prepare moderately complex documents using a variety of applications for technology devices such as standard office software. Also responsible for gathering and summarizing data for reports Resolve queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information on policies and/or procedures, referring complex issues to others. Respond to basic issue escalations promptly and appropriately; provide managerial approvals as required.

Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant.
