This is an exciting opportunity for candidates looking to build their expertise in Restructuring while working closely with (senior) colleagues and clients. You will support critical restructuring and turnaround initiatives across various industries, gaining hands-on experience in financial and operational challenges faced by companies.You will work closely with senior team members and client stakeholders to analyze financial and operational challenges and help develop and implement solutions that create value. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in restructuring, turnaround, and transformation projects while learning from some of the best professionals in the field.How you will contribute:As part of a select and highly skilled team you will have the opportunity to:Advise and implement alongside client’s executives, investors, lenders or any other stakeholders facing distressed situationsConduct diagnostic assessment of key issues and business outlook, appraisal of options & contingency planning and liquidity forecastingDevelop and implement restructuring plans and integrated financial models as well as short term cash flow forecasting toolsEvaluate business plans and financial projections, including assessments of risks and opportunities - Contribute to performance monitoring following business plan implementationDevelop trusted relationships with key stakeholdersContribute to business development activities including the creation of client pitches and proposals to win new mandatesTypical project areas include:Financial and operational restructuringCorporate turnaround and performance improvementBalance sheet optimization and restructuringAsset sales and carve-outsCash and liquidity management, including short-term forecastingCross-border wind-downs and operational closuresDevelopment and validation of business plans with management teamsIndependent business reviews (IBRs)Stakeholder communication and reporting, including PMO-led cost-saving initiativesQualification:A strong academic background, complemented by experience at a leading consultancy, along with additional relevant exposure in a bank’s workout loans department, is considered advantageousProven track record in (managing) financial restructuring projectsStrong financial acumenExperience in financial modelling with ability to build 13-week cash flow forecast and 3-statement financial models with limited oversightCapacity to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging, and uncertain environmentExcellent written and oral communications skills, confident and impactful presenterDriven by values and integrity, talks straight, builds confidence and leads by exampleFluency in Turkish and English is essential, additional languages are a plusYour journey at A&MWe recognize that our people are the driving force behind our success, which is why we prioritize an employee experience that fosters each person’s unique professional and personal development.
