SEO Expert The newly established Global Digital Hub at "Roche" is designed to strengthen digital capabilities across key areas, including Social Media Management, Brand Support, Digital Publishing, Marketing Automation, Copywriting, and Creative Design. As an SEO Expert, the selected candidate will play a key role in increasing organic visibility and improving search performance across a range of international websites managed by Roche. This opportunity is well-suited for someone with a strong foundation in SEO, a strategic and analytical mindset, and the ambition to grow within a collaborative, hands-on environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate incoming SEO-related requests and ensure smooth communication between stakeholders, acting as the key point of contact between clients and development teams. Conduct keyword research, organize terms into clusters, and deliver strategic recommendations aligned with business goals. Identify and troubleshoot technical SEO issues using tools such as Google Search Console and third-party platforms. Collaborate with developers to implement on-page and technical SEO improvements. Perform site audits, prepare content briefs, and generate regular reports analyzing traffic, rankings, and crawl data. Monitor industry developments, algorithm updates, and emerging best practices, and share actionable insights with internal teams and partners.
Requirements5+ years of experience in a similar SEO role, including hands-on technical SEO, supported by a degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field. Ability to explain the rationale behind SEO strategies clearly and convincingly. Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills, with a consultative approach rather than direct technical execution. High-level proficiency in Business English and the ability to explain SEO concepts effectively in an international environment. Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web accessibility standards; experience conducting accessibility audits and optimizing for screen readers.
Familiarity with frontend/backend collaboration, accessible UX/UI principles, and inclusive design best practices. Experience managing multilingual websites and using tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Adobe Analytics, Looker Studio, Google Search Console, Slides, and Sheets.
