Job DescriptionJob TitleAssistant Manager � HRJob OverviewWe are looking for an experienced and proactive Assistant Manager � HR to join our team in a heavy material manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of HR experience, particularly in recruitment, performance management systems (PMS), staffing, and generalist HR functions. Candidates from similar industries such as heavy manufacturing, steel, cement, or industrial machinery will be preferred.Key Responsibilities Manage the complete recruitment life cycle including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding. Lead and support the implementation of the Performance Management System (PMS), ensuring timely goal-setting and appraisal processes. Collaborate with department heads to understand and fulfill staffing requirements. Coordinate manpower planning and resource allocation as per operational needs. Maintain employee data and prepare HR MIS reports for management. Ensure compliance with labor laws, factory rules, and statutory requirements. Support in handling employee relations, grievance management, and disciplinary actions. Drive employee engagement initiatives and retention strategies. Assist in implementing HR policies, SOPs, and best practices across departments.
