Key products you will be working with are syndicated loans including leveraged financings, bridge facilities and other financing products to support acquisitions, refinancings, leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations helping clients achieve their desired growth objectives.As a proactive member of the team you will support the business in satisfying growth, revenue and cost targets, with the goal of enhancing client relationships and building effective peer and investor bank relationships.This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your credit, financial modelling, documentation, loan product, relationship management and distribution skills within a results driven and challenging environment, with access to excellent training and development, diverse career opportunities and the chance to work as part of a high performing team.Your Key Responsibilities Will Include, But Not Limited ToPreparing marketing and diligence materials to assist in deal execution including lender presentations and information memorandums.Providing support to senior team members in the management of corporate and private equity client relationships.Undertaking detailed credit analysis, due diligence, financial modelling and preparation of credit and capital submissions.Assisting with the preparation of wider debt market updates and strategic pitchbooks.Be proactively engaged in assisting with new financing opportunities and initiatives including sustainability related financing.Establishing and maintaining strong relationships through honest and open two-way communication with colleagues across the Corporate and Institutional Banking team and other relevant product areas including Debt Capital Markets, Global Markets, and Infrastructure Finance to identify and action cross selling opportunities across the business.Developing and maintaining an appropriate level of understanding of each relevant client’s business, industry and associated markets.Participating in driving a high-performance culture and deliver HSBC’s integrated strategy.To Be Successful In This Role, You Will NeedFinance or accounting knowledge with some experience in financial modelling, credit analysis and / or markets preferred, coupled with a strong commercial orientation.Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills with detail-oriented problem-solving capabilities.Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client and internal stakeholder relationships.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.High levels of self-motivation and a strong work ethic.Degree qualified in finance, accounting or similar discipline.Strong preference will be given to candidates who hold Australian PR/Citizenship or New Zealand Citizenship, or who can demonstrate current unrestricted work rights in Australia without limitations.We value different perspectives, we succeed together, collaborating across boundaries, we take responsibility, holding ourselves accountable to get things done.
