You share the workload, why shouldn’t you share the reward?OverviewAs a Junior Trader of the UK Sports Trading Team, you will help execute daily trading operations across racing and sports markets. Your responsibilities will include market creation, pricing, live market monitoring, and ensuring the accurate settlement of betting events. You’ll work closely with Senior Traders and Trading Risk Managers, gaining hands-on experience in both trading and risk management.This role is ideal for someone with a strong statistical background, solid knowledge of high-turnover sports (such as football or basketball), or a passion for horse racing. Prior experience is beneficial but not essential. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.You’ll be part of a small, collaborative team where a proactive approach, analytical mindset, and eagerness to learn will be key drivers of success.Primary LocationThis role is currently open to candidates based in Leeds and surrounds, though other locations in the United Kingdom may be considered.ResponsibilitiesCreation, pricing and management of sports and racing markets as directed by Senior Traders Price sweeps and maintenance of pricing integrity as directed by Senior Traders Timely and accurate market settlement Assist the wider Customer department with Trading related queries Ownership of a selection of minor sports Monitor prices and control liabilities Assist with Service tasks as required A full list of measurable KPI’s will be introduced and the completion of your induction/training period within CustomerSkills & QualificationsA proven ability to perform in a high-pressure environment Ability to multi-task and assist with all customer facing tasks Strong verbal and written communication skills A strong interest in sports and/or racing An analytical nature and inclination for problem-solving A can-do attitude and an ability to see the bigger picture Relevant tertiary degree is desirableAre you a Dabbler?A Dabbler’s attitude is paramount, as the right person will be able to learn quickly and adapt to any skill gaps.
