Overview:Our client is a global institutional investment manager, with a dedicated real estate programme spanning Canada, the UK, Europe, U.S. and Asia. Its real-estate investment strategy encompasses industrial, office, retail and multi-unit residential assets, including both domestic direct investments and international joint-venture structuresThe London office serves as the hub for Europe & Asia-Pacific real estate origination, execution and portfolio management. The team is expanding and seeks a high-calibre Associate to support the European real estate platform.Key Responsibilities:Support origination and underwriting of real estate investments in the UK and wider Europe (industrial, office, retail, multi-unit residential).Assist in financial modelling, valuation, scenario analysis and investment structuring.Participate in due diligence across commercial, financial, legal, tax and ESG dimensions.Support preparation of investment committee memoranda and presentations.Assist in monitoring and reporting on portfolio assets; work with asset- and portfolio-management teams on performance, repositioning and value creation.Contribute to sector and market research — including trends in logistics/industrial, urban residential, office-to-residential conversion, and rental-housing models in Europe.Candidate Requirements:Around 2–3 years of relevant experience (investment banking, real-estate private equity, real-estate debt, asset management) — ideally exposure to UK/European real-estate investment.Strong financial modelling and analytical skills (DCF, IRR, sensitivity analysis) and good valuation understanding.Familiarity or interest in major real-estate asset classes (industrial/distribution, office, multi-unit residential) and real-estate investment value chain.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, good presentation ability, strong team orientation.Degree in finance, real estate, economics, engineering or related discipline; further certification (e.g., CFA, RICS) is a plus.UK-based or eligible to work in the UK; comfortable working in a global, institutional environment with cross-border exposure.Opportunity:Join a leading institutional real-estate investment platform with global reach and a growing footprint in Europe.Gain meaningful exposure to investment execution and portfolio management across multiple asset classes and geographies.Engage with senior professionals in a collaborative and high-performance culture.Competitive compensation and benefits aligned with institutional investor benchmarks.
