Job Title: Analyst, Financial Planning & AnalysisLocation: Vancouver (Hybrid)The Client: Robertson and Company is working with a well-established organization to hire an Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis. This role is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and high-performing finance team, where you’ll partner closely with business leaders to deliver insights that drive strategic decisions. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical and technical abilities with excellent communication and business acumen.What you will achieve in this role:Participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting process, analyzing performance against plan, identifying key drivers of variances, and providing actionable recommendations.Produce management reporting and financial analysis, generating insights and supporting data-driven decision-making.Build a deep understanding of operational and financial drivers across the organization to support planning discussions with senior leadership.Collect, validate, and analyze financial and operational data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency.Develop and maintain complex financial models to support forecasting, scenario planning, and strategic initiatives.Prepare and deliver clear, impactful financial presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to automate reporting, streamline processes, and enhance efficiency.Assist in the development and review of business cases for investment and corporate projects.Contribute to ongoing process and system enhancements within the finance function.What you must bring to this role:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Mathematics. MBA, CPA, CFA, or similar designation is an asset.Minimum 2+ years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Accounting, Investment Banking, or Real Estate.Strong financial modeling skills and the ability to analyze large data sets to extract key insights.Proficiency with financial systems and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL, Yardi, Anaplan, or other ERP/CPM platforms).Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proven ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams.Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Compensation: $75,000–$85,000 (based on experience) Includes a performance-based incentive plan, comprehensive health & dental benefits, a defined contribution pension plan, and paid time off.Only those who are qualified will be contacted.We use AI technology as part of our application review process to assist in screening and assessment.All applications are also reviewed by our recruitment team.
