Job DescriptionThe Financial Analyst is responsible for driving forward-looking insights through forecasting, margin analysis, and performance reporting. This role supports decision-making across the ASG’s three plant operations by developing financial models, preparing executive-ready dashboards, and analyzing business trends. The analyst collaborates cross-functionally and plays a key role in budgeting, strategic planning, and ERP reporting evolution.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Complete month end and year end reporting as required by our corporate finance team Complete in-depth analysis of financial data, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide actionable insights and recommendations. Prepare financial reports, forecasts and budgets, utilizing financial modeling to support strategic decision making and operational planning. Collaborate with corporate finance team, business unit leads and other stakeholders to analyze budget variances, identify trends and recommend corrective actions. Collaborate with various departments to develop and manage budgets for automation projects. Support financial audits by providing documentation, conduct reconciliations to ensure compliance with internal and external regulation. Above duties to be performed in a timely manner and in an ISO 9001 environment Required to work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company Health and Safety, and other policiesEducation and Experience:Post Secondary Education in finance, accounting or a related field2+ years experience working in a similar roleWorking towards CPA/CFAPosition Requirements:Manufacturing or Project based background is an asset withing the corporate and BU setupStrong understanding of financial principles, accounting practices and financial analyses techniquesKnowledge of regulatory standards and requirementsFinancial modeling, forecasting or budgeting experienceStrong competence using Microsoft Office and Hyperion or SAP BPCAdvanced analytical skills along with attention to detail,Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive informationAble to work independently as well as part of a teamExcellent written and verbal communication skills in the English languageSpecial Requirements (physical demands and work environment): Ability to sit at computer workstation and perform data entry functions for an extended period of time
