This position will be responsible for providing transportation and distribution though leadership, as well as the execution of all key logistics processes in Japan.This position is part of the Japan L&D function located in Tokyo and Mishima, Japan and will be on-site. If you thrive in a dynamic, driven, multifunctional, fast paced, team orientated role and want to work to build a world-class Logistics and Distribution function in Japan —read on.In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity ToManage procedures and trainings for Logistics & Distribution (L&D) Associates in Beckman Coulter warehouse (JPF) in JapanCo-ordinate with Logistics Service Providers including internal stakeholders and monitor daily inbound/outbound deliveriesManage and maintain business relationships with Appointed Service ProvidersMonitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI) metrics to measure efficiency and improvement of L&D Associates from views of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Inventory and ProductivityImprove Freight and Warehousing processes and systems; driving towards “Best-In-Class” operations within Beckman and Danaher groupsLead and participate in Kaizen projects in collaboration with internal & external stakeholdersComply and adhere to the Quality and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) requirementThe Essential Requirements Of The Job IncludeBachelor’s degree and 8 years+ of working experience in Supply Chain or Logistics industryBusiness-level English proficiency (Vantage), in addition to JapaneseConceptual and practical expertise in the field related to logistics control/management as well as knowledge of best practices differentiated in the marketProblem solving skills to deal with complex issues, taking a new perspective using existing solutionsLeadership to facilitate projects/other related teams with manageable resource requirementsIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:Experience with ERP system developmentExperience in Process Validation with knowledge of ISO13485Strong critical thinking skills, ability to exercise independent judgment and manage complexity and ambiguityTeamwork spirit to help others to accomplish team objectives and duties.Open mindset to learn new things and challenge the status quo.Join our winning team today.
