In this role the analyst will apply both qualitative and quantitative skills across ongoing engagements. Around twenty per cent of the time will be devoted to preparing the quarterly subscription product on India’s power market. The remainder of the work will involve structured research, data handling, economic and regulatory analysis, development of quantitative inputs for models in Python, R, or GAMS, drafting reports and presentations, and supporting business development tasks such as preparing proposal material and credentials. Prior experience with demand forecasting, capacity expansion planning, or similar quantitative market work is helpful, as is comfort working with large datasets including time series. Experience preparing slide decks and written outputs for clients is also valued.
