SummaryThe role of Revenue Analyst is to be responsible for the development and implementation of revenue management strategies and tactics for a given set of routes/ markets and inventory control measures.Job DescriptionRevenue Management & StrategyAssess and segment demand based on market conditionsMaximise revenue on assigned routes by optimising inventory control measures and overbooking managementWork with Pricing Team to identify opportunities for tactical pricing actions for incremental trafficIdentify opportunities to maximise revenue through demand forecast/ inventory adjustments without significant adverse impact on demand and market shareBenchmark and monitor pricing strategy vs competitionDrive revenue management best practices and enhancements to the revenue management systemWork closely with pricing team, overseas managers and market contacts to identify revenue opportunities and take early revenue management actionsPost departure analysis to ensure strategies align with expected outcomes through constant evaluation of no-shows, go-shows, cancellations, and demand shifts.Revenue Budgeting/ ForecastingDevelopment of annual revenue budget/ targets by month for assigned routesMonthly forecast review and adjustmentsSystems Settings/ MaintenanceEnsure timely and accurate set up of system influences and strategiesRequirementsDegree in any numerical disciplineStrong numerical and analytical skills with commercial acumenFluent written, spoken and reading capability in English High level of accuracy and detailStrategic outlook and understandingExcellent communication skills and experience in working with people at all levels.Ability to maintain the overview and see the bigger pictureAble to create and maintain strong internal and external networksAble to handle simultaneous projects and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment
