This position will support QuadReal’s sustainability strategy in its key areas: environment, places and leading with integrity.The Sustainability Analyst will work directly with properties to review and analyze their energy, water and waste diversion performance and support various sustainability certification programs. This individual will have a passion for mitigating climate change and a strong desire to support QuadReal on its sustainability and decarbonization journey.ResponsibilitiesSupport Sustainability team members and properties with achieving certifications, such as portfolio-level submissions for BOMA BEST, LEED, Fitwel and others.Monitor and analyze QuadReal’s cloud-based energy software to find opportunities for improvement and produce reports that highlight where additional focus is neededSupport with annual reporting of utilities and GHGs for GRESB, TCFD, SASBSupport ISO 14001 certification of the Environmental Management SystemConduct property-level physical climate resilience assessments for all new acquisitions and the existing portfolioFacilitate training sessions with property teams on the energy/sustainability management systemsActively support net zero carbon transition planning and trackingCollaborate with other teams for incentive funding across the national portfolioProvide overall support for other ad-hoc projects that are identified throughout the yearExperience And QualificationsTwo years of relevant experience in sustainability or related field, along with working knowledge of utility data (energy, water, waste).Experience managing data and processes in an EMS (Energy Management System) is an assetExperience or familiarity with BOMA BEST, LEED, Fitwel certification programsStrong verbal and written communication skillsUndergraduate degree in a related discipline, such as environmental management, science, or engineering. Specialized coursework in statistics and science is preferredIntermediate to advanced skills in Excel, Word, and other databasesAbility to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships and adapt to different communication stylesWillingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environmentBilingualism is considered an assetNote to Recruiters: QuadReal does not accept unsolicited resumes from any source other than directly from a candidate.
