We're currently 30 engineers, split across Backend, Data/Machine Learning, Web, iOS, Android and a Growth team.Tise engineers work in small, cross-functional teams, solving fun and complex problems. From pixels to database queries, we take pride in owning the tech we use to serve hundreds of thousands of users each month.We are now looking for an Android Developer on-site in Oslo who wants to be a part of our journey and help us take Tise to the next level 🚀💚The position is a full-time permanent role based at our headquarters in Oslo, and you will report to an Engineering Manager.🌱 What You Will AccomplishBuild and maintain Android features in Kotlin; contribute to gradual adoption of Jetpack ComposeCollaborate in cross-functional teams to refine specifications and plan deliveryEnsure app reliability, performance, and observability for owned areasWrite tests, participate in code reviews, and contribute to Android architecture decisionsContribute to shared components and conventions within the Android chapterHandle bugs and issues within your team's domain🏓 What You Will Bring4+ years relevant experience building Android applicationsIn-depth knowledge of Android architecture componentsExperience with JUnit and Espresso testsGood understanding of the full Android development lifecycle, including application architecture design (MVVM)Knowledge of coroutines & HiltPassion for details and great user experiencesCan dive into an existing, complex app, and learn quicklyExperience with, or eager to learn about, payment and shipping technologyFluency in English, both written and spokenCan work at least 3 days a week from the Oslo office💚 What We OfferWork with a highly dedicated team of in-house developersA healthy work-life balance.
