SPI/LCI consultant

SPI/LCI consultant Location: StavangerDuration: asap - 31.12.2026We are seeking a skilled and proactive SPI/LCI consultant experienced with Smart (Plant) Instrumentation. The role requires extensive experience and knowledge about LCI information, data and systems and preferably experience from previous conversion projects. The consultant will play a key role in establishing and managing SPI data, ensuring continuity and efficiency in both project execution and ongoing operations.Core duties:- Instrument loop design for projects and assets in operation- Identification and correction of missing information in the database- Establish and quality-assure F&G loops in SPI for an upgrade project in Operation.- Perform full-scale import of equipment, cables, and connections in SPI, including data extraction, quality checks, import, and verification.- Collaborate with Contractors and internal resources for input and QA in SPI.- Development and improvement of work processes related to instrumentation- Provide technical support and quality assurance within the operations organizationExperience:- Experience from the oil and gas/process industry, particularly with SPI deliveries in both projects and operations.- Experience with loop design, cable structure, and IO cards in SPI.- Experience with technical information management and system integration.- Experience with cost optimization and efficiency improvements in SPI deliveries.Qualifications:- Experience with SPI (SmartPlant Instrumentation) as super-user and administrator, including import tools and project module.- Competence in instrumentation and technical documentation.- Ability to operate CAD tools and update technical drawings.- Knowledge of LCI processes and systems, including relationships between equipment and documentation- Structured and quality-conscious work style- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work independently
