Eden Scott is working in partnership with a highly regarded Financial Services firm in Edinburgh, currently experiencing increased workflow and seeking to expand their central support team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit, professional environment as an AML Analyst, supporting the business in maintaining robust compliance and due diligence standards.Key Responsibilities:Conduct AML and KYC checks on new and existing clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Review and process documentation for pensions and investment applications with a focus on AML risk.Act as a key point of contact for internal teams and external clients regarding AML queries and documentation.Liaise with product providers to obtain and verify information, issue Letters of Authority (LOAs), and maintain accurate records in the internal database.Prepare AML-related reports, client risk assessments, and support pre-sale documentation processes.Manage your own workload and support the wider team in prioritising AML-related tasks. Candidate Profile:Previous experience in an AML, compliance, or financial administration role within a wealth management or financial planning environment.Strong understanding of AML regulations and best practices in the UK financial services sector.Excellent communication and organisational skills.Experience with submitting new business applications and using financial platforms (exposure to Intelligent Office (IO) is advantageous but not essential).A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their AML expertise within a supportive and professional team.
