Having around 220 specialized human resources Thales Portugal has a strong capability to design, develop, and deploy systems and services efficiently in the Defence, Security (Critical Information Systems, Critical Infrastructure and Banking) and Transportation markets.Thales Business Support Services (TBSS) acts as a Shared Service Center for Thales Group by serving a number of countries for various key tasks associated to finance and accounting processesCurrently, we are looking for AP Payments Team Member to join our team!Responsibilities:Electronic payment processing via BACs of third party and/or Intercompany invoices within strict deadlines in multi-operator Thales companiesInstigate / resolve invoice queriesMaintain prepayments and debit balances at an acceptable level Monthly closing reports and routines with strict deadlinesAd-hoc Payables related tasks - as and when requiredAbout You:Graduated in Accounting, Management, Economics (or in a similar area)Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookExperience of working for a large and complex organisation - Shared Service Centre environment (preferable)Good knowledge of P2P processes acquired in an international company (preferable)Good knowledge of EnglishThe Group invests more than €4 billion per year in Research & Development in key areas, particularly for critical environments, such as Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity, quantum and cloud technologies.In 2024, the Group generated sales of €20.6 billion.For our more than 83,000 employees in 68 countries we open up visionary perspectives, realise individual career paths and enable creative freedom.
