Al Falah University Under ED Lens For Over Suspected Terror Funding Links In Delhi Blast Case

Al Falah University in Dhouj, Haryana, has come under the radar of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) as part of the ongoing probe into the November 10 Delhi blast near the Red Fort that claimed 13 lives and left several injured. According to sources, the Enforcement Directorate will probe the university’s financial transactions to trace any possible links to terror funding or financial irregularities connected to the explosions. Investigators are expected to focus on funds routed through the institution and any suspicious monetary exchanges involving individuals already under investigation in the case. Other central and state agencies are also coordinating with the ED to examine whether the university’s accounts or associated entities were used to channel money for the planning or execution of the attack. This comes hours after investigators discovered a red Maruti Brezza registered in the name of Dr Shaheen Saeed, an arrested suspect in the case, from the premises of Al Falah University. The recovery has further intensified scrutiny of the institution and its financial dealings.
