Job Description

Position: API DeveloperLocation: JohannesburgEmployment Type: ContractRequired SkillsStrong experience in RESTful API development and integration patterns.Hands-on expertise with Node.js / Python / Java (or relevant backend technologies).Knowledge of API Gateways (Kong, Apigee, AWS API Gateway, Azure API Management, etc.).Experience with OAuth2, JWT, SSO, and secure API authentication/authorization.Understanding of microservices architecture, event-driven design, and cloud-based integrations.Familiarity with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, CloudWatch, Dynatrace, etc.).Preferred ExperienceExposure to geospatial data platforms or analytics.Experience integrating with enterprise clients such as banks, insurers, and fintech ecosystems.Knowledge of machine learning model deployment and serving.
