Vire Health Oy is a Finnish health-tech company that helps people time their activity, recovery and sleep for better health. The Vire Clip sits discreetly at the waist – near the body’s core – and, together with the Vire app, turns signals from core temperature, breathing, and movement into clear timing guidance. Vire was founded in 2021 as a spin-off from Lappeenranta University research and is headquartered in Finland. Vire is going to market in 2026 and is currently raising its Seed round.We’re now looking for an App/Software Developer to join the team and work towards launching the Gen1 version of the Vire Clip! If you thrive in a fast-moving startup environment and enjoy taking ownership, shaping user experiences, and building products that are heading into commercial production, this role is for you.How you’ll contributeYou will work with a high degree of ownership and impact on the user-facing features in our Flutter app—turning biosignals and behavioral data into clear, motivating experiences. Day to day, you’ll design pragmatic UI flows, wire clean data contracts with our analytics stack, and ship reliably to iOS/Android using CI/CD.We live in AWS, lean heavily on Appsync, and care deeply about UX polish, accessibility, and privacy-by-design. You’ll help shape our event schema (MixPanel), keep performance tight, and turn experiment readouts into better journeys and habit loops.What you'll bringStrong mobile development experience, including 2+ years building production Flutter/Dart apps for iOS and AndroidExperience in AWS-native mobile integrations (AppSync, GraphQL)Solid analytics / experimentation practices: event design, funnel setup, A/B testing basicsProficiency in state management (Riverpod or Bloc), async patterns, offline-first architectures, and secure storageProven ability to ship reliably through CI/CD pipelines and maintain crash-free rates of ≥99.5%In addition to technical skills, you bring strong initiative and a clear sense of ownership — you propose ideas, deliver them, and measure their impact. You have an eye for aesthetics and intuitive design that elevates the user experience.Collaboration comes naturally to you, and you communicate clearly while working smoothly in a remote team. You stay focused even when the pace is high, maintaining a consistent commitment to quality.Experience with native iOS/Android bridges, Bluetooth-based sensor flows, accessibility, secure storage, performance tuning, or the wearables domain is considered an advantage, but not required for this role.
