Apparel PD/Production Coordinator

We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented and experienced Apparel PD/Production Coordinator to join our growing team. This role bridges product development, costing, and production coordination—ensuring seamless execution from concept to final delivery.Position OverviewThe Apparel PD/Production Coordinator is responsible for managing product development, sourcing, costing, and production across multiple categories. You’ll collaborate closely with customers, vendors, mills, and overseas factories to ensure product quality, accurate costing, and timely delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Development & CostingOversee all aspects of garment product development and costing from concept through production handoff.Communicate daily with overseas teams and customers to manage fabric development, sourcing, and pricing.Create and analyze detailed cost breakdowns to ensure margin goals are met.Source and coordinate fabrics, trims, and accessories with mills and factories.Review technical packages (tech packs) and purchase orders for accuracy before sending to overseas offices/factories.Evaluate lab dips, strike-offs, trims, and fabric samples for quality and compliance.Ensure all materials and finished products meet technical and testing requirements.Production CoordinationDevelop and manage production calendars (T&A reports), tracking milestones to ensure on-time delivery.Coordinate closely with overseas production teams to address issues and maintain production flow.Serve as the primary contact for customers regarding production updates, shipping, and delivery timelines.Enter and maintain accurate data for orders, inventory, and shipping information in internal systems.Collaborate cross-functionally with internal production and logistics teams for smooth handoffs and delivery.Monitor production status, identify potential delays, and take corrective actions as needed.Coordinate lab tests and final inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.Prepare and verify shipping and courier reports, invoices, and documentation.Attend and contribute to pre-production and production meetings, providing updates and reports.Perform other duties as assigned by management.What We’re Looking ForQualifications & Skills:Education: AA or BS/BA degree in a relevant field.Experience: 3+ years of apparel product development and sourcing experience, including costing, and production cycle.Experience with both woven and knitwear categories.Strong knowledge of production processes, costing, logistics, and fabric testing requirements.Excellent communication and negotiation skills with both domestic and international partners.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency and problem-solving ability.Why Join Us?At TCW Trends, you’ll be part of a collaborative, growth-oriented team where your attention to detail and production expertise makes a real impact.
