Payment Processing Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payment processing Specialist to support our financial operations and ensure the accurate and timely processing of company payments. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of financial processes, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment. This role plays a critical part in maintaining financial integrity and supporting operational efficiency across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess daily payment transactions including ACH transfers, wire payments, reimbursements, and vendor disbursements.Review and validate invoices, payment requests, and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance.Maintain accurate financial records, reconcile payment accounts, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.Monitor payment workflows and ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance standards.Assist with month-end close activities, audit preparation, and financial reporting.Collaborate with internal departments to address payment-related inquiries and provide exceptional support.Identify opportunities to enhance payment procedures, streamline workflows, and strengthen operational effectiveness.Qualifications1–3 years of professional experience in payment operations, accounts payable, financial services, or a related field.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and payment processing standards.Experience using financial software or ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to manage confidential financial information.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience preferred.Preferred CompetenciesFamiliarity with financial compliance requirements (e.g., CCPA, SOX, internal audit controls).Experience with workflow automation or digital payment platforms.Strong analytical capabilities and process-improvement mindset.What We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for career development and advancementSupportive and collaborative professional environmentFlexible work arrangements (if applicable)Commitment to employee growth and well-beingEqual Employment Opportunity StatementWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
