Job Description

The Application Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation, configuration, and optimization of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system in the company. The role ensures that the ERP system aligns with the operational, financial, commercial and strategic objectives, driving efficiency, compliance, and business growth while enabling the company to meet its sustainability and market expansion goals. Accountability & Responsibility Scope of AccountabilityManage, optimize, and scale the ERP system across all departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals and operational efficiency. Deliver a fully functional and efficient ERP system tailored to the needs of the agri-food industry, ensuring seamless operations and real-time data availability.Main Tasks Duties include, but are not limited to the following:Manage the overall operation and effectiveness of the ERP system to ensure it meets the business needs.Configure and customize the ERP software to support business key processes ensuring that the system aligns with organizational needs and enhances operational efficiency.Monitor ERP system performance, identifying and addressing any technical issues promptly.Ensure that ERP system capabilities align with the company’s sustainability goals, export strategies, and product diversification.Lead the implementation of ERP solutions for new processes, locations, or products, ensuring seamless integration.Plan, manage, and execute ERP system upgrades and enhancements in coordination with the ERP Administrator.Ensure data accuracy and consistency within the ERP system by defining data governance policies and monitoring adherence.Provide timely support, training, and solutions to internal stakeholders, ensuring high levels of user adoption and satisfaction.Work closely with operations, finance, human resources, supply chain, commercial, and quality assurance teams to align the ERP system with departmental goals.Develop and oversee the creation and distribution of Business Intelligence (BI) reports, ensuring they provide actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.Identify and address ERP challenges by analyzing issues and implementing effective solutions to ensure smooth functionality and ongoing improvement.Manage the budget to ensure efficient resource allocation for ERP maintenance, upgrades, training, and implementation.Lead and mentor a team of ERP specialist and administrator, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Report directly to the IT&S Director, providing updates on ERP system performance, project progress, and alignment with organizational technology and strategy goals. Key Performance IndicatorsERP System Uptime and Availability: Measure the percentage of time the ERP system is fully operational and accessible to users without unplanned downtime.Data Accuracy and Integrity: Track the percentage of accurate and consistent data entries within the ERP system.User Adoption Rate: Evaluate the percentage of employees actively using the ERP system as intended after implementation or upgrades.Project Completion Timeliness: Assess the percentage of ERP-related projects completed within the planned timeline. Required ProfileEducation Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.Certifications in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics are highly desirable.Experience7+ years of experience in managing ERP Systems, of which 3 years in a managerial role. Experience in manufacturing environment is a must.LanguagesProficient in EnglishProficient in ArabicOther Requirements Primarily works in an office setting.Occasional travel may be required.
